Previous experience is not essential for this role. Our care certificate training includes theory and work-based training to prepare you for the role.
You will be working a rota pattern which covers early, late and weekend shifts however you will not be required to work sleep-ins.

Support Routines, Learning & Life Skills: Help young people with daily routines, appointments, schoolwork, and activities while encouraging independence, celebrating progress, and being a steady presence in their everyday lives.
What we are looking for
You must hold a full UK manual driving licence (company cars provided)
You must be over the age of 21.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect through empathy and trust
A team player with a flexible, proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of daily life

A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice
Previous experience in care, education or youth work is desirable but not essential - full training is provided
What we offer
£3000 welcome bonus for new care staff -you will be offered a £3000 welcome bonus when you join Genesis. This payment will be made in three stages: £1000 on commencing employment; £1000 upon passing probation; and £1000 when you reach 12 months’ employment.
Annual long service bonus you will receive a £1000 bonus payment every year after 2 years' service. Employees reaching 5 years continuous employment you will receive an annual long service bonus of £1500 each year.

Monthly Mileage Supplement - we know that many of you travel to rural locations and that rising fuel costs can make this more difficult. Staff who travel up to 10 miles to work will receive an additional monthly payment of £20. Staff living between 11 and 20 miles from the workplace will receive £40 per month, while staff who travel over 20 miles to get to work will receive £50 per month.
