Slides, Sand and Two New Faces
August at the Lawns was spent outdoors. The young people went down the waterslides at the water park and spent long afternoons on Bournemouth beach building sandcastles.
What stood out was the staff. They got in the water, cheered from the bottom of the slides and swapped stories round the dinner table in the evenings. Sharing the days like that is how the team keeps the home feeling settled and safe.
Updates and staff welcome
Two new colleagues joined the team this month. The Senior Therapeutic Care Worker role adds another pair of hands to daily care and activities, which means more one to one time for the young people. The Deputy Manager post gives the home a second experienced manager. Welcome to both.
